Puppies can only be selected from photos posted from litters on our Gooddog webpage as being available or by placing a deposit and getting on our wait list. A wait list will be maintained for all future litters for either a male or a female pup. Selection of puppies in the litter that is chosen will be in order of time and date deposits are received. Those on a wait list will be given the opportunity to select a puppy shortly after the puppies are born. This has to happen as soon as possible. This allows everyone on the wait list to make their choices from only puppies that will be available to them. If we get no response from someone in what we deem a satisfactory time we reserve the right to move on to the next person on the wait list. All puppy selections must be made from photos we provide to you or are posted as available. Changes can not be made after selections have been made as it makes the pups unavailable for others to select. We are not available for onsite selection or visits. If any unforeseen issue should arise with a puppy or litter that's been selected, any available puppy can be selected in its place or the deposit can be rolled ahead to future planned litter but will not be refunded. If there is a large litter born or not all puppies are spoken for those on waiting lists for other litters will be contacted in the order of when deposits were received until everyone who has placed a deposit has the opportunity to choose from the earlier litter and available pups.
Our dogs have all been tested and verified as 100% English Springer Spaniels. Health testing was performed on our breeding dogs to reduce the risk of inheritable diseases or conditions. Our Sires and Dames have all had full DNA tests for diseases or health issues that are common to the breed by Embark Dog Genetic DNA Testing . They are also seen by their Veterinarian for routine semi-annual health checkups and prior to breeding. Still with all these precautions taken we neither imply or make any guarantees for any puppies health after it leaves TimberVale.
Limited AKC Registration (no breeding rights) application and a copy of the AKC Litter Registration showing your dogs lineage will be provided at the time you pick up your puppy(s). All puppies will have had their first set of Vaccinations at six weeks and been wormed and we'll provide a record of that for you. We will provide you an info folder, a puppy blanket with mom scent, and a bag of Puppy Food. All puppies will have had a full Health Exam at our Veterinarians Office when they are around six weeks old, only a healthy pup goes to your home from TimberVale Springers. Tail docking and dew claw removal will have occurred 4 days after birth, when the procedures are the least injurious to the puppy. If you do not want the tails docked, you will have to let me prior to 4 days and full payment must be received via Gooddog to stop that process. We recommend you make arraignments with your local veterinarian for your puppy within 48 hours after going home for next vaccinations and health checkups.

As time allows (no guarantee) we will schedule a puppy visit day to come out and visit your new puppy. That will be around 6 weeks old, after they have had their first set of vaccinations and Health Checkup at the Vets. We love to meet the folks our puppies will be going home to as well as we know everyone is excited and anxious to meet their new pups. It's always a good time for everyone. We hope that everyone will keep in contact with us after they take our puppies to their new homes and share how they are all doing. We love to see all the pictures of the families and puppies as they grow and share fun and new adventures.
If at any time you become unable to keep your puppy please contact us. We will consider the option of taking the dog back and/or trying to rehome it for you. We would require that you send us the dogs complete medical history since leaving us. We'd also need your permission to contact your Veterinarian and have full access for your Vet to talk to us at your expense if necessary. It is TimberValeSpringers primary goal to have our pups in a loving and caring home for their lifetime.
When going to their new homes, puppies can be picked up at our home. We will be in contact with you to arrange the dates and times of your arrival in advance. Other arrangement for us to assist with transporting you puppy to you must be discussed and is only available as time allows. Fees would be charged for time and expenses. Additional boarding fees may be assessed. For any coming in by air, if we are available and prior arrangements are made we can meet buyer at SeaTac Airport for an additional fee, normally $150 billed via Gooddog. Additional Boarding charges may apply. All balances for your dog must be paid in full and all additional services must be paid in full at the time we submit a payment request to you via Gooddog. All flight scheduling must be agreed on if this service is needed. Most Airlines will allow a dog to travel in cabin or as checked baggage for additional fees (check your airline for fees and restrictions)(we like Alaska Airlines and Alaska Air Cargo). If shipping arrangements are necessary we will try to assist if we are available for additional fees. Additional fees and transportation must be negotiated and agreed upon at time of purchase and prepaid when final payment for your dog is made. Veterinarian health Checkup and flight Certificate $175 if needed. Cert good for 10/30 days with most Airlines. ABOUT PARVO. REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT WANTING TO VISIT A YOUNG PUPPY PRIOR TO THEM HAVING THEIR 1ST VACCINATIONS AND AFTER...
The last thing any new puppy owner or dog breeder wants to hear is a diagnosis of parvo. Parvo in puppies is unfortunately a common disease with deadly consequences, which is why it is important for anyone dealing with puppies on a regular basis to be aware of the symptoms of parvo and what to do about it. Parvo in puppies is caused by the canine parvovirus. This virus is highly contagious and spreads through direct contact with an infected dog or by indirect contact with a contaminated object. Your puppy is exposed to the parvovirus every time he sniffs, licks, or consumes infected feces. Indirect transmission occurs when a person who has recently been exposed to an infected dog touches your puppy, or when a puppy encounters a contaminated object, like a food or water bowl, collars and leashes, and the hands and clothing of people who handle infected dogs.
Puppies ages six weeks to six months are the most susceptible to parvo. Puppies younger than six weeks old still retain some of their mother’s antibodies, assuming that the dam received her full series of parvo vaccinations. Puppies are vaccinated against parvo at approximately 6, 8, and 12 weeks of age. They are vulnerable to the disease until they have received all three shots in their vaccination series, which means owners need to take extra precaution during this time to prevent their puppies from contracting the virus. Puppies should receive a dose of canine parvovirus vaccine between 14 and 16 weeks of age, regardless of how many doses they received earlier, to develop adequate protection.
The severity of parvo cases varies. The stress of weaning can lead to a more severe case of parvo n puppies, as stress weakens the immune system. A combination of parvo and a secondary infection or a parasite can also lead to a more severe case of parvo in puppies.
To top it off, certain breeds of dogs are at an increased risk of parvo:
